January 9, 201016 yr Can anyone shed some light on the fact that the maximum landing weight of the MD11 in Topcat is 471500 pounds but according to the MCDU when imputing flight details, the MLW is 458000 pounds? January 9, 201016 yr Commercial Member MCDU should have a MLW of 481,000 lbs I remember someone else on here asking for help because the MCDU was giving wrong figures.Regarding TOPCAT you need to set the MLW yourself when you first setup the aircraft profile, under the 'Weight Profile' Just enter 481000 and it will work fine.Cheers Rob Prest
January 9, 201016 yr That was me; I found that the Passenger version was 458,000 lbs and the Freighter was 490 something. What's weird though is that the MLW for the passenger is that of the C (combi) model.471,000 LBS is the MLW weight of the CF (convertible freighter) model. There's a model comparison table if you scroll down here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McDonnell_Douglas_MD-11 Dan Schultz REX Latitude BETA Team Member https://rexlatitude.com
