New Moniter Old problem

Featured Replies

Hey there everybody,I recently purchased a new moniter. The native res is 1920x1080p. I get no performance drop in any other app except FSX. How could going form 1280x1024 to the new resolution ruin performance by about 9 frames? I am curious. Also is 1080p or 1080i better. I have no clue. I am running the HDMI connection if that helps.I have:GTX 260i7 OCed to 3.69G RAM

First, you should really be using the DVI hook up to the computer, not HDMI. 2nd, you are drawing many more pixels with your new monitor, so that's the obvious reason for the performance drop. p is generally better then i.
