I desperatly wait for comments on FS2004 from ordinary users, not only expert beta testers ;-)Wolfgang

Hello Wolfgang.Well, I guess most of the new stuff has been mentioned by the beta testers and press people. So far I

Well,As my legitimate copy apparently doesn't exist how could I report anything? ;-)Just kidding, guys! However I have posted some shots here:http://www.scandva.org/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcb...orum=DCForumID8and here:http://www.scandva.org/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcb...orum=DCForumID8First of all. My system is a three year old Dell Dimension 800MHz/384Mb with a geForce3 Ti200/128Mb so it is not a state-of-the-art rig. With some tweaking (The gradual Mip Mapping option in hardware settings is a great improvement!) and lowering of scenery detail for speed I get about the same frame rates I had in FS2002 (that is between 10-16 (target 16) for my rig). The scenery is much enhanced it looks much like the FS LandClass scenery from Burkhard Renk. The clouds and the weather systems are also very much enhanced, though FS still draws 2D clouds when further away than a set distance. Weather are supposed to dynamically change over time AND distance. But I haven't seen too much of that yet. ATC has also been improved thought it can't make you fly DP/SID/STAR. You can ask for FL changes and ask for non-precision or precision approaches. I must admit I still have to test the ATC further. My overall impression is that it is much like the FS2002. Better tweaking possibilities from within the interface, enhanced sceneries and much enhanced weather systems are the major things you pay for.More to follow (I hope)...Cheers,

Hallo!!Working nicely here, weather is beautiful and many of the small problems in FS2002 are fixed. I have a P4 3GHz, 1 GB ram and a 9700 PRO card, works nicely but not with every slider on max as in FS2002, not that I thought it would work. Clouds feel real, fog is very nice, ATC nicely enhanced. The new default aircraft are very flyable and look nice.I'm just waiting for my PMDG bird to work, no fun without it!RegardsThomas HjelmESOW/ESSX - Swedenwww.fsnordic.net
