January 14, 201016 yr Probably many people already know this and can regard this message as redundant, but I found out that setting the Texture Quality slider in FSX to medium dramatically improved my performance and FPS. I noticed no real visual degradation in combination with this slider while using Tileproxy. Just wanted to share this info...
January 14, 201016 yr Hi Armandox,There is no texture quality slider in FSX. I wonder if you mean global texture resolution? If that's the case, reducing that slider to medium seems to cause a lot of bluries for me and a lot of others too.Or did you mean something else? What are your system specs?Cheers, IAN Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
January 15, 201016 yr Commercial Member Hi Armandox, it would depend on what level of texture resolution you usually use. If you use tileproxy with 1.2 meter resolution, then by lowering the slider, you are going to not display the hi res textures. cheers, Mark
