"Shimmering" of scenery still in FS2005?

Recommended Posts

I have never had a problem with or worried about the so-called "blurries" in FS2002 -- but what has annoyed me most about it is the shimmering/moving lines that you see mostly on the sides/edges of buildings as you fly along.Does this still exist in Fs2004?Barry

"is the shimmering/moving lines that you see mostly on the sides/edges of buildings as you fly along."There is a slider in the "Hardware" tab of the Display settings called "Mip Map Quality". Default setting is "4". I've played with the slider a bit, but the default setting seems to work best on my system... no shimmering here at that setting.
