Aerosoft tsr autobrake

Featured Replies

I use it with Level D's 767. The manual is in translated english (from german) so it can be a little confusing to set up. I use it with FSUIPC running on a seperate PC via widefs. It does make landings more interesting since the runway condition, slope, weather (wet/dry) and weight of the aircraft are all factored in to determine how well the brakes function and weather slipping occurs. So fully laden on a short runway in the wet can become a little scary!Downsides are that you need to manually create a database of runway conditions and slopes since this information is not in FSX. Secondly, the autobrake knob in the cockpit is not used as this would enable the autobraking system of the aircraft as well as that of TSR autobrake. You have to assign keys to the various autobrake settings of TSR and this of course interferes with any co-pilot call outs or checklists such as FS2Crew since they read the internal autobrake setting. So you get "Oops, autobrake not set"I wrote a very small FSUIPC LUA program that sort of gets round the second issue for the level-d 767 which could be modified for any aircraft. You can find it here http://www.forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?showtopic=31482Overall, I like it. It makes landings more interesting and adds a little more realisim.
