FSX not accetping weather from ASA nor REX2

Featured Replies

Hi folks,Searched and could not find this.I run REX2, load a flight plan, let it d/l the weather etc and fire up FSX.When I get into a flight the airport ATIS gives the wrong weather, including the wrong temperature. If I then proceed to go to the FSX menu and load real time weather from there, all is correct. OR, if I just run FSX without starting REX2 and use real time weather from FSX, all is correct.Running W7 64 bit with Bit Defender full security (which I have tried disabling.)REX2 is loading the correct weather in the GUI but will not inject it.I *do* get this message when I try to load weather from the WASys...please make sure rexwxengine2.exe has in/out access via your firewallBut I have no firewall other than the Windoze 7 one. (I had Bit Defender but removed it.)I also run UT2.

and you get this same result from ASA?
Yes.

I used to use BitDefender but it became a serious problem. I dumped it for Avira Premium Suite and am glad I did. Also Avira support is better too. Oh, and Avira doesn't slow my system down like BD did.

Getting rid of BD did not fix it.
