January 25, 201016 yr This is how remember it - in MD-11 you have to be below 18,000 ft for the VOR tracking to work. It is only meant for flying approaches. Michael J.
January 26, 201016 yr Pah. To navigate a Woodpigeon, all you need is a compass, a stop watch, and a map. Now that is proper flying. [Also useful are a pencil, sliderule, protractor, flask of tea, pack of sarnies, cash in various foreign currencies, phrase book, GPS etc.,][And if you still get lost, you can stop and ask but remember - real men never ask directions!]. I will make this as simple as possible. Step one, take off glove. Step two, lick finger. Step three, hold finger up (avoiding temptation from nose). Step four, rotate finger. Paul Smith.
