March 26, 201016 yr Here's one for FS9. It appears to be XML coded and might work in FS10. It is a digital gauge that reads altitude, stored TA switching level, and QNH in inches and MB.I actually tried that one yesterday. It works for the most part, except that TA and TL are limited to 10000ft. I edited the gauge with FSPS and managed to boost it to 18000 quite easily. Another problem is that pushing the LCL button only seems to set the mb value, not the inches. I did not mage to fix that, I don't have the know-how. It's also hard to resize it and keep it readable, so at the end I removed it.:( This rather ancient guage should still work and might be just what you need. http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=20692It's a small guage that you can place on the panel and will show the current pressure in FS and a red light is illuminated when it differs from the stored pressure. Full instructions are included.Look's very handy, I'll check it out.:( Mike...
March 28, 201016 yr So, I tried numerous gauges, but didn't really find "the one". As I looked into it, I also found that I needed to see the aircraft's setting, not the environment's. So I decided to see what could be done with existing gauges, with regards to readability and availability of both units.See the attached capture, the smaller image shows the Overland A32X panel, it used to say QNH and below that the pressure but only in inHg, with no way of changing to other units. I replaced "QNH" with the pressure in mbar. So I can now see both. The bigger image is the QW757 panel. As you can see, the actual altimeter is unreadable. So I added a digital altimeter. In this picture not so much, but with the entire panel in view, it's pretty subtle.I'll do a flight now and see if this solves my RC altimeter issues, it should. And I learned a thing or two about XML gauges along the way.:( Mike...
March 28, 201016 yr Moderator Hi Mike,That looks like a good solution. The larger image didn't make it through. The pressure guage I recommended is more to advise you when pressure changes from what's held on the altimeter but with both gauges you're nicely setup. :( Ray (Cheshire, England). March 28, 201016 yr I merged the two captures, the smaller is in the larger... I added a black border around the small one, but I probably should've have used a brighter border color.:(Either way, it's working out nicely as I fly from EDDG to EDDP. I think most issues I may have had with RC have now been solved or gotten used to. There's no turning back now to default ATC. Finally, and I don't mean to dis PFE, but that never really worked out for me. Having used both, RC is definitely the best option, IMHO. I'm confident v5 will build on that.:( Mike...
March 28, 201016 yr That is a very cool add-on. Thumbs up dude. Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.

Glad to hear you're enjoying RC. :( Ray (Cheshire, England).
