It's possible you have your FSX overly maxed graphically. Does this problem continue to happen if you lower your scenery sliders?

I had some of this issue (presented a little differently but still texture rendering deficits in FSX), and found that deleting FSX.CFG and allowing the system to re-build the file fixed a lot of the issue for me. As you say, I can also mitigate the issue by dragging sliders to the left, including texture size and scenery density, but haven't had to since I re-built the .CFG file. I assume it's related to the high defintion textures in the external model and my somewhat old system (Q6600 at 2.7 GHz).I can't stop flying this bird, I really like it.Thanks, Bruce (Knight)

Hi Vin - Some of my VC panels and knobs are black.747-8i.jpgI pulled the sliders back, installed latest nvidia drivers. After install I was not prompted to install VS2008 as mentioned in the readme. The 747-400 works fine as well as every other addon.Nice looking and sounds great, would like to get a fix for this issue. Thanks,
