VC night missing

Featured Replies

Hi,I have installed FSX on a W7 computer. It is the Gold edition with the acceleration pack. I learned about the SDK and thought it would be good for adjusting AI traffic. I have installed it using the installation guide of FSdeveloper. All seemed to go well. But, after I completed that, VC is not there when loading an FSX airport in the dark. At day time the VC is there, but at night time it is gone. One just can see the concrete. When selecting an aircraft I have noticed I do not see the outside of the aircraft, only the insight. So obviously this has something to do with it.Before going for a reinstall, does anyone have a clue? Thanks,Menno C. Robert

I don't use Win7 but in Vista you'll find fsx.cfg in the folder C:\Users\<your logon account>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSXReplace <your logon account> with your logon user name.Hope this helps :(

Ulf, thank you, I had to re-open the directory structure to show the hidden programs. But, it doesnot contain the Bufferspool.Do I have to add these lines to the .cfg or is it in a different config file? Thanks,Menno

I added the Bufferpool lines to this .cfg and started at poolsize = 500000. Worked it down to 200000 but unfortunately my VC at nigfht time is still missing in the default 738. It
