Here's the scenario...Had been running the gold press release version. Uninstalled it yesterday and installed the commercial retail version. Ran commercial release yesterday afternoon - no problems. Shut down, went to bed.Got up this morning, tried to rerun, and no panel display in 2d mode, nothing. Nada.Guess what? Corrupted BMP's and other files in FS2004. Did a chkdsk and whoa... fixed all of the corrupted files/links/references and FS2004 booted up fine.Keep you eyes peeled for corrupted files and link tables guys. I think FS2004 is doing some funkalities on shutdown. One data point does not a fact make, but if others are having similar missing cockpits, I would be interested to hear whether corrupted files / links might not be the issue.

Any word on the multi monitor issue Tom, this seems to be another fatal flaw in the software .The inability to undock in full screen mode.Fs2002 works flawlessly in this regard. If you have any inside track to the FS team could you bring this up, this to me is a show stopper.
