February 5, 201016 yr Hi!Im having a serious problem with my computer. It restarts when playing FS2004 (seems to happen faster w. FsPassengers and real world weather activated, but it happens no matter what) sometimes after 2 minutes, sometimes after 30min. Its REALLY annoying, as its an allmost new computer with ok specs. - I have updated all drivers (chipset and bios aswell) checked temperatures of CPU, GPU, benchmark tested, Memtested, reinstalled games and add ons and everything I could possible think of! without any luck! If anyone has any ideas or advice if would be much apreciated! ...It doesnt happen with normal desktop use or internet browsing, only when playing games (3d) -also have problems with Heroes of might and magic 5 - game freezes, and I have to manually reboot computer! My computer specs;Alien systemscore2 duo E8400 3GHz X2motherboard: ASUS P5Q SE P45
February 5, 201016 yr I had that very problem last week. Problem: Bad memory. Solution: Replacing memory sticks. But apparently you already checked your memory, so I'd go for the PSU too Ed OcampoStaff ReviewerAVSIM Online[email protected]Fly DC Jets
February 5, 201016 yr if your memory is 2x2, try to just run on one stick, then the other...see if restarts occur only one one of them. But it really sounds like a heat or voltage problem (if overclocking). Are you overclocking? What are your CPU and GPU temps after 10 minutes of intense gaming? GPU should be under mid 70s, cpu should stay under mid 60s. - Red E8500 @ 4.1 | EVGA 275GTX (overclocked) | 2x2GB Mushkin Enhanced Redline @ 1066 | Samsung 24inch LCD @ 1920x1080 |

February 6, 201016 yr It could also be the processor. I had the same problem and I found out that my processor went bad.
February 6, 201016 yr I've had that problem more than once over the years. Usually it's the power supply but once it was the video card.Brandon
