G'day Carenado,I have noticed over the past that you guys don't include mipmaps with your repaints. Would I be able to request that you do in the future? Why? Well from a distance lines on the aircraft show jaggies but by having mips in the texture sheet this has stopped this. I notice that a lot of other commercial companies don't include them either. I have recently gone through all of my aircraft/choppers and created mips for the ones that didn't have them. All of the textures looked clean a clear from a distance now. I have also created mips for the internal and external VC and now look a lot clearer(No white edges around each mapped object). I would post pic's but you can't really see what I mean.CheersHugh

I've been debating this issue on my own C185 (see the repainter's forum here). I found the N numbers show the jaggies but if I check the Mipmaps, it makes the other textures rather blurry so I'm not sure which route to go.... :(

I like the Carenado aircraft ,but yes the jaggies on the repaints from a distance was a bummer,the thing i did was used a program called Texture Doctor and changed the dxt files to BMP 32,low and behold no more Jaggies and they look good to me.Dont know whether it has something to do with my ATI graphics card but all is well might buy a few more aircraft now.One more thing to the Gurus of Carenado i see the creep marks are still on the inside of the wheels :( no to realistic me thinks oh and on some aircraft i have the ball in the turn and slip dont move...not critcism just observations..........carry on the good work guys........
