I don't recall any particular sound when the aircraft hit turbulence...well, at least in the cockpit. The only thing I remember is that, if you're flying a piston engined aircraft, the sound of the engine will change momentarily if the shift in air speed and direction is too strong.

No problem.Though, try to look for a sound file for screaming people, papers, folders and books hitting the ground. Maybe a cup of Coke spilling too! :( Best regards my friend

Actually ive heard it in the cockpit. Your hear the squeaks and rattles of the cockpit, and the turbulence has a sound similar to the sound the spoilers make when deployed. Its the buffeting like sound you hear when approaching a stall with a high attitude. In pilot training in the tweets, we call it the tickle. You also hear it in the dc10 when performing steep turns. Sounds like the speed brake buffet noise but not as consistent. I remember the instructor talking about the sounds of elephants stomping on the wings lol. i guess thats what would sound like lol.

I can't recall FDC having turbulence sounds?Anyway, this is a very good question, turbulence sounds would increase realism a lot with (assumingly) little effort. Maybe someone like EZDOK could incorporate it.PS. I suggested it in their forum. Who knows!

I asked EZDOK but they can't read weather info via Simconnect so it can't be done for now. I know that's FSX and this is the FS9 forum, but asked anyway :( Perhaps the ball should be thrown to the weather generator developers, like Hifisim.

It adds the exact creaks, squeaks and cockpit ambient sounds someone up above was referring to. Check out FSPassengers for and rumble effects, too.
