747-400F instrument failure

Featured Replies

I've recently loaded a copy of the PMDG 747 program but am having the following problem.About a minute after loading the aircraft in FS9 the panel fails and all instrument screens go black. I've searched the overhead and all panel pop ups for an instrument master or activation switch but can't find one.The FMC works and accepts a flight plan and all pop ups and switches seem to work ok as well - but no CRT screen indications on the main panel.Could someone kindly help out.Thanks.Ron

Hi Ron,You'll want to contact PMDG directly, but that sound like a license problem.Try re-installing your PMDG 747.Best,

Bryan,Yes - I did that this morning after posting the message, and all is back to normal. It was a last resort and it worked. My version is pretty old (version 1) and I reckon it needs updating, however I'm glad it still works !!Thanks anyway.Ron
