July 28, 200322 yr Carenado has offered the FS2002 airplane as freeware, but the link to SimFlight is broken. FSPlanet had a partialdownload (3.4M), containing 2D panel and spot view, and stating that an additional 2.3M file containinginternal and wing views should be downloaded from "another source". Well, I can't find the "other source"and the SimFlight web site is all but useless. The plane is lovely, but not much fun flying a panel with no outside views and blank windows, no wings, etc. Can anyone help find the rest of the file? Thanks,mistral2
July 28, 200322 yr Author Mistral, you should be able to download the plane from Carenado's site http://www.carenado.com/ecommerce/buscador.php3?categoria=2There is a link for freeware downloads.J.J.JJ StruyfBraine-L'AlleudBelgiumhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg Jean-Jacques Struyf between EBBR and EBCI
July 28, 200322 yr Thanks for your reply, but that is the problem. The Carenado free download site takes you to a SimFlight dead link. You end up in a circle, and that's exactly why I'm asking here!
July 28, 200322 yr Thanks for your reply, but the only download that's functional from the Carenado site is the small FS2002compatibility patch. Trust me, the download doesn't work. It's a re-direct to a SimFlight library, which has been off-line for a long time. If I can't get a url to the 2.2M balance of the file, I'll just have to scrap a verynice airplane. If anyone thinks the Carenado download of the complete file is functional, please be my guestand try it. It hasen't worked in months. Thanks!
July 29, 200322 yr I have just downloaded and installed the Tomahawk from the aforesaid URL Donald E. Donovan Flying is the 2nd greatest thrill known to man The 1st is landing.
July 29, 200322 yr Author I can't understand why you could'nt download the file. I just re-downloaded it without any problem.J.J.JJ StruyfBraine-L'AlleudBelgiumhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg Jean-Jacques Struyf between EBBR and EBCI
