Problems running Jetstream 4100

Featured Replies

AggghhhI am having the same problem as Dave. Even though I have cleaned my registry (how well I dont know) I still can not get this thing to run. Can anybody else shed some light before I get angry and turn green.Cheers in advanceChris CartwrightP.S I know it sounds cheap but I dont think I should have to fork out more money to register a cleaner when the the flight sim program should uninstall completely in the first place

Hey Chris, Who's Dave? It's a little late, and I'm not seeing the post in question. What's the issue again?

Sorry, I thought this was getting attached to another forum.I am running a Windows 7 x 64 bit system. The problem I am having is that I have installed JS4100 and after I entered the product code and pressed "fly now" my FSX crashed, I heard the sound of and engine shutting down and the error "fatal error occured" FSX then restarts. Now I have cleaned my registry (albeit how well I don't know) then reinstalled the program to see if that would make a difference but that didn't help either, but this time it didn't ask for the licence code when I restarted FSXIf this isn't asking for the product code then there must be something stuck in the registry. Now I have read some forums that talk about the same thing but I don't understand why I should have to buy a registry cleaner because the program can't comletely uninstall itself. Is there any other soulution to this problem???Thanks in advanceChris Cartwright :(

Oh and I'm running FSX - Acceleration

I know it's a bit like asking "Are you sure it's plugged in?", but are you sure the registration screen hasn't simply lost focus and is hidden behind the FSX window? Try Alt+Tab and see if the Reg screen is there. Was there anything specific in the error message? I'm on Win7 x64 as well, so I don't think it's a compatibility issue.I'm better at answering aircraft systems questions than computer questions, but I know one of the other guys will chime in here soon. Otherwise, I'd send an e-mail to support with all the details you can muster. Just make sure you get an automated response that they got your message.EDIT:Disregard,I just noticed that the Web Support Portal is open for business... check it out here:http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=277449

Try uninstalling the acceleration pack, reboot, and reinstall the acceleration pack. This has fixed some odd problems. Also, make sure you don't make any complex aircraft your default airplane for FSX. I use the trike. Does FSX start okay with the trike?

Hi,I've just bought JS41.. I installed it with 'Completed' option, then run FSX and choose JS41, enter activation code and then the FSX crash ("fatal error occured") and restart. I have Vista64 (SP1, 2) and FSX (SP1, 2) [no Acceleration]How can I fix this problem?Best regards,LucasPS. Sorry for my poor English :/

Update:I installed J41 with "Run as administrator" option.------------I tried load default machine (Cessna 172) and change on J41 - doesn't work.I trided delete fsx.cfg, to FSX rebuild cfg file -> J41 doesnn't cause error, but there are a lot of graphical bugs with textures all planes and grounds, no autogen, etc.

Ok, problem solved."I trided delete fsx.cfg, to FSX rebuild cfg file -> J41 doesnn't cause error, but there are a lot of graphical bugs with textures all planes and grounds, no autogen, etc."...but I didn't remove SM3.0 by *******. After that everything works fine.
