FS ALTITUDE E-MAIL NOT ACCEPTED

Featured Replies

I was going to buy FSAltitude sceneries but because I had a question I sent an e-mail via their website to their sales department. It came back un-accepted.I sent the same e-mail to their support site. Also not accepted. The reason mentioned is that their IP addresses are blacklisted, email quarantined.Has anyone sent e-mail to FS Altitude and got the same problem. Also has anyone in-stalled their products.

I know nothing about their products but have experienced a "not accepted" situation once or twice. In each case it was MY e-mail providers info which had been blocked by the provider on the receiving end. I suspect that is what has happen in your situation also - i.e. the provider which FSAltitude uses has blocked messages from your provider. In my case I was attempting to answer an e-mail which came from a gentlemen who was using his company e-mail address. My provider is Verizon, one of the larrgest providers in the world and it was being blocked. The only way I was able to work around this (and contact the sender) was to have a friend in that country e-mail the man - his provider was not being blocked by the company - and we were able to establish contact using a different e-mail address and a different provider. The gentleman ultimately contacted the provider and was able to convince them that Verizon was OK and the block was removed. So the bottom line is that it can happen and if you are lucky, you can work around it.Hope that makes sense.

You haven't missed much IMHO.I got FS Altitude W Europe last year, but had problems with constant blurries- which were never resolved. And it's not as if my pc couldnt run it (Q6600 quadcore and 2x8800 graphics card) either!Den
