Have the FS9 OJAI Pay-ware Contrail Simulation installed. There was a plan for FSX. However this company seems to have disappeared from the internet, and also from SimMarket where I bought it. I copied the airport to FSX as I am using FSX more and there fore starting to empty FS9. The airport is fine but I have also the default buildings in FSX. Is there a way that an exclude bgl can be made. Have ADE9X

Thanks for all your suggestions, not yet decided what I will do as there are other issues not related to FSX to consider, like old Office works etc and other addons.

My apologies if this has been asked before. I have FSX with a lot of add-ons of various sorts ( & FS9 which I hardly use) on Windows 7, if I upgrade to Windows 10 how does it affect my all my installs. Do I have to remove the flight simulators before the upgrade, also what happens to other applications like my Logitech joystick, video card etc, speakers etc etc.

Had the original FSX version and today purchased the new update version for € 12 Euro. Fantastic airport, I did have an issue with texture bleeding and shimmering on the runways. Sent an e-mail and got a very fast reply saying that the issue and solution ( "ALT" file ) was known and will be resolved in a further installer. I received the "ALT" file for the World/Scenery folder which resolved the issue. Top service from Digital Design.

Thinking about buying the RealWorld Super HD scenery Qatar and other Arabian sceneries. According to the info on SimMarket they are compatible to Airport add-ons, in an e-mail Realworld says that all-add-ons are compatible. I have amongst others Dubai Night Environments, A-A Doha Airport with the city, GEX Africa & Middle East amongst others. Has anyone Realworld scenery, along with other (photo) sceneries, and what is the experience. Have FSX in Windows 7. Another question concerns the UAC. Info from Realworld is. Windows 7, please TURN OFF "USER ACCOUNT CONTROL". This feature of Win 7 & Vista can affect installation of a number of programs. I have read many times that this is not recommended due to the high risk of leaving the computer very vulnerable to viruses etc. I install all my add-ons as Administrator. All suggestions/info welcome.

I have the FranceVFR Reunion and the FMEE airport from a few years ago. The airport has changed it's name to Roland Garros. No developer has made a new (pay-ware) version as far as I know. There was a developer France Touristique Scenery who made a stand-a-lone version, this company ceased to exist several years ago. Has anyone have any opinions (pro's & con's) about this scenery and if it, despite being a stand-a-lone version, is compatible with the FranceVFR Reunion island scenery or only with the default FSX. Is it possible to get (buy) the France Touristique Scenery version somehow.

Thanks for your reply. These are the files which I have used. I have tried everything to get this issue corrected, why is it just this one texture / scenery file. An issue caused by another scenery?

Have the Bahrain scenery in FS9 and installed the scenery in FSX, but I now have a missing building front in FSX. Behind the red English and Arabic letters ( Bahrain Airport ) I do not have the building texture. When I get nearer it is like looking through glass, I also see the green grass which would normally be hidden by the building. When I slew to the sides and back these show up, also apart from some black vehicles behind the airport I rest of the scenery seems to be in order. Something seems to be excluding this small section. Downloaded the files as on the download section, I only have the E_Z libraries installed and not the Jordan airports as I do not need these. What I find strange is that Bahrain VATBAH_OBBI has an apart texture file where the Jordan airports do not. Any suggestions. I cannot show an image here but I did the same topic on the FlightSim forum with a photo image, no replies as yet.

Maybe that is a reason that SimMarket do not sell their products. I stopped buying after the second version of airports were released, or the upgrade price is a correct (small) amount.

UPDATE According to the manual I have to backup and disable (remove) in FSX/Scenery/0902 BRX78230 & OBX78230 and copy the APX78230 from the addon scenery ZGGG after disabling in 0902. I wish to alter this "Afcad" as at the present aircraft gives a preference to the apron instead of the gates with the same airline codes. Has anyone had experience in changing these files as I am only used to ADE9X & ADE files. I have the ADE9X programme. Also would I have to copy the altered file to both the Addon Scenery & 0902 folders. I presume that I have to use the same name.

Have installed the fantastic Guanghzhou FSX from Bridge. Everything is perfect apart from one issue, maybe it is me. One terminal has very little traffic and aircrafts ( foreign ) are parked on the apron and I want to change the airline codes at this terminal. At the other terminals ( Chinese ) aircrafts are parked correctly, which means that it is not the default afcad. However I cannot find the ZGGG afcad file from Bridge. Have sent an e-mail yesterday and am now waiting for an answer. Have others this scenery and if so have they the afcad.

Found the topic on the main page with nine comments but there were more if my memory was correct including pro's and con's about buying the scenery.

I was following a topic about Imagine KATL FSX but the item seems to have disappeared. Is there a reason for this removal?

I have also decided not to buy KATL, despite being a good customer having bought in the past years a number of Imagine airports for FS9 & FSX, including Shanghai which I think is good, but I have seen that the price they are now asking does not reflect in the level of quality in the new KATL. I have installed the demo after first looking at the older version in my FSX, it looks more looks more like an update and not a complete new version. I miss the volume of apron objects, vehicles, containers etc which I see on other recent airports which I have. Also small but significant details like the tower which does not have lighting on top. As others have mentioned the after service can be improved more, also a forum where customers can post messages and support each other and also get help from Imagine is sadly missing. Imagine could show more transparency with their customers. They could take an example from FlightBeam, FlyTampa and FSDT forums just to name a few. And why have all the Imagine airports been removed from SimMarket, a commission question or is there more the hand here.

To alter my custom made traffic.bgl in FSX\Scenery\World\scenery I copy the bgl to FS9 then use TTools to alter the file. Is there a way that I can alter the three files (Airports,Aircraft & Flightplans) in the Traffic bgl without going to FS9. In other words is there a programme for FSX to open the Traffic bgl. to get the three files I want to change. I know there is a airline packet programme called WOAI but I prefer to do the work myself. Any suggestions welcome.

Does anyone know if there is a (photo) scenery of the Buenos Aires city to compliment the Tropical Sim airport.

I had asked this question in my other topic concerning black & blue scenery issue at a few airports and/or surrounding scenery. Maybe overlooked hence my new post. Someone advised re-building the FSX shaders cache by deleting the contents. In Shaders are five maps (General, Terrain etc) do I have to remove these or the many .fx files inside. Have also Shaders10, I presume that I do not need to do anything with this map. I presume the FSX cfg or other items in FSX will not be altered. Have others been helped with similar issues by this method of re-building the Shaders cache. Or are there other ways to try and solve this issue. Installed the FlyTampa Sydney, get in the surrounding Orbx Australia scenery the issues. If I disable the airport everything is fine. FlyTampa does not think it is a compatibility issue. All suggestions more than welcome

The was a suggestion that I should re-build the FSX Shaders cache due to having the black & blue issues. Have a question There are five maps ( General,Terrain etc) in Shaders with content, do I remove these maps or all the contents within these maps. Have a second Shaders10 which has a map HLSL, I do not use the DirectX10 , do I need to rebuild this as well and in the same way as Shaders.

Have FSGlobal and Orbx Australia amongst my add-ons. Installed the new FlyTampa Sydney airport. However when I fly in or out in the surrounding Orbx scenery I am getting square/rectangular patches of black and blue textures which can take more than a couple minute before they disappear. If If disable Sydney this problem does not show. Never had this before with FlyTampa. Posted a message with photo's on the FlyTampa forum, this was the reply. I appreciate it very much that this person is trying to help me. ""This can happen sometimes on system overload, i get this even in clean installs, doesn't necessarily mean incompatibility. does this occur with all add-on aircraft? I got this reduced by updating GPU drivers and clearing FSX shaders."" As I not an expert in computers I am always wary that I will make a mess of my FSX by altering things. That is why I hope that I can get several opinions who may or may not agree about the Shaders. What do the Shaders exactly in FSX. Are there others with this issue as all my other sceneries seem to be all-right. Different aircraft ( payed & freeware ) give the same result. I cannot update the photo's here but they are on the FlyTampa Sydney forum. Chr.

Generally when in slew you use the 1-9 keys e.g. on the number pad, which is usually found on the right hand side of the keyboard. Not the numbers found under the "F "tabs, are you using these numbers? The Num Lock key is very important, press this if the number keys do not work. Key 8 is forward, 4 to slew right etc, etc.

Only un- install as a last resort, wait a few more days for other reactions. I presume you are using the 1-9 in the numeric keyboard which also has the Num Lock key. What happens if you do not use the "F" keys but just the instead 1-9 in the numeric keyboard. For slew I press the "Y" key. If you have FSX have you tried the slew there.

Try pressing the Num Lock key, this key deactivates some controls and activate others using 1-9 etc. It affects the slew keys, cannot think at the moment which other control programme are affected.

Have read on some forums, like Aerosoft, that a new ( or updated ) version of EDDF is in the make. But I believe others are doing the same. Has anyone any idea which companies are doing an new EDDF, as I would not like to buy a version and miss out on a better one.
