Thanks for your quick reply, after take-off the craters or directly ahead to the left and on the right side. Not checked the surrounding further afield. Transferred the files to World/Scenery/SAME after I disabled the default AP928300. But it made no difference, in the craters (deep gorges) I have water running up the sides. Took a screen-shot but I cannot attach it. I shall see if Flightsim will allow the photo.

Just installed Virtualcol SKBO FS9, when I took off I noticed that near the airport are three craters. I think that this is a mesh issue (upside down mountains ?) Have Global 2008 amongst other add-ons. I had a similar problem at Rio de Janerio which was sorted out by disabling a file. Is this issue with the area around Bogota known, and if so how it can be corrected. Unable to post a photo.

Thanks for your reply, I can see the logic in your explanation. Only the number sequence comes over as very confusing. It seems a pity that I have had to wait a month from my first message to get this issue explained as you have done.

Have 5483 hits, but these include e-mails and everything with MSE in the title. I have installed a new drive to save space on my FSX drive , the sceneries I have mentioned above are on this drive. Others are still on the FSX drive, but I do not think this makes any difference. I first notice that when I was at Lake Geneva in Switzerland part of the area near the airport and some of the lake coastline was Ultimate terrain. I then noticed missing sequence numbers for example F25- then F28, I wondered where number 26 & 27 had got to. So I presumed that all the sceneries with missing numbers were incomplete. I have just installed California, there are no missing numbers in a "Letter" series. I do not know how to post a photo on this forum.

Still no answer to my messages if anyone at PC Aviator/MSE have checked their files to see if tiles are missing in the sceneries I have mentioned before they are uploaded to the sites which sell their product.

What is meant by "Shift it down to 0803" I do not have FTX Global, will this fix still work.

Have you checked if tile numbers are missing. I have posted on Avsim & PC Aviator forum a list of tiles numbers which I am missing. According to PC Aviator no one else has reported missing tiles. Germany North has an update for several missing tiles, but I have more missing. The Netherland & Belgium are OK on my FSX, not got England.

Downloaded the update, AG 24-36 for Germany North Still missing AB 22-24, 27-34 !!!, AC 27-29, AD 26,39,40. Germany South BH 24. New York AA 48-59, A 10-17, B 9-14, total 26 files. Florida AB 04-08, D 07. Any finally Switzerland F 26,27, K 05, L 05,06, 22-25, M 15-18, N 12,14-19. ( 18 files) I hope that PC Aviator/MSE will also checked these sceneries and bring out an up-date. Mw first preference scenery for a fix is Switzeland, Hope my patience will be rewarded. (P.S. Dean, Still waiting for Moderator clearance for the PC Aviator forum) otherwise I would have placed a topic there.)

Installed the up-date but no change, in add-remove programme the date was up-dated. I did not use the MSE install programme which I used to install my sceneries to FSX. The up-date was from the MSE site so maybe it has not been updated.

Do you need to un-install Germany North or just install the new "10" and replace these textures.

Will PC Aviator be also looking at the other countries which has issues as mentioned by me a couple of days ago. I presume sellers, other than MSE/ PC Aviator, SimMarket for example.will receive the updated versions.

Also sent an e-mail today to MSE ( through their own site an a copy through my own e-mail address). Previous mails a couple of weeks ago have never been answered!!! Number of tiles missing. Switzerland =18 Florida =6 Germany North =30 ( includes the numbers already mentioned in previous messages) Germany South =1 New York =26 Downloads & DVD's are the same. A lot of money spent for incomplete scenery, not buying anymore until present issues are sorted out. My other MSE Sceneries are complete, Netherlands, Germany Central, Belgium and Portugal. I wonder if MSE/PC Aviator read messages on forums like AVSIM.

Recently installed an extra HD as the HD with FS9/FSX including my add-ons was nearly full. Re-installed MSE on this HD without any trouble, I just altered the disc letter in the path. Wanted to do the same with Aerosoft Night Environment scenery as I had just downloaded the up-date versions. However when I tried to changed the disc letter I got a message that FSX could not be found. So I just re-installed on the original "FSX" disc. Any suggestions

MSE Austria, have an issue round Lake Geneve, is seem a lot of area is not covered. I have UT Terrain & Ground Environments. I can only describe it as patchy, a piece here and a piece that not showing. Some scenery is missing or suppressing parts of the scenery. Could there be an issue with these other add-ons. With other MSE product, Portugal, Belgium, The Netherlands all the country is covered. Wrote several times to MSE but no reply. The only info I receive are frequent e-mails advertising their products. I am thinking of not buying MSE any more. Have Orbx Aust/New Zeeland which is perfect.

Same here, three e-mails ( a couple of months ago and early this week ) through their website and my own e-mail account. However on the positive side I ordered MSE Germany using the discount and also the DVD service which went well. Previous DVD service took approx 3 weeks to Europe which was the time scale on their site. Once again a pity about the lack of customer service, also miss a Forum.

Thanks guy's for your suggestions. I think altering the scenery cfg is probably the best way for me due to it's simplicity. It may take a while before I decide about an extra HD but I do not need to worry is this was not possible. Once again many thanks.

Have 2 HD's, the second has FS9 & FSX plus several aircraft, MSE & other photo sceneries, UT terrain, ground environments, Mega Airports, FSGlobal 2008, ORBX Aust. etc. etc. This HD is now running out of space , it may be possible to add a third HD. Do not want to re-install FS9 & FSX, prefer to move scenery like the above mentioned add-ons to the new disc. I know it will probably not remove stuttering when in "high density" areas which I have now. Any suggestions if this is possible and which sceneries must be on same disc as the FlightSim"s.

Found on internet an old forum message. "Just disable the VABB_ADEX_ADE_ALT bgl." Visually the airport in general looked al right. The issue where the bottom half of the aircraft disappears when on parts of the runways is still there. Not yet added/disabled other files as suggested in the forum, taking one step at a time. Have FS Global 2008 amongst other scenery add-ons.

Have Aerosoft Tahiti X, not been for a while so cannot remember what it looked like. Recently installed Flightscene NTAA. Now realised that buildings etc behind perimeter fence were missing unlike photo's. Unchecking Tahiti X & Base in Scenery Library makes no difference to the scenery. Checking further it seems that Tahiti X in general is being excluded, other islands like Bora Bora also showing less vegetation, buildings etc unlike the photo's of Tahiti X on the website. Posted same topic on Aerosoft, no replies as yet. Flightscene thinks that a Landclass issue may be interfering the showing of Tahiti. Everything looks normal in the Tahiti folder inside FSX/Aerosoft folder. Have several add-ons like Orbx Australia & New Zealand, several GEX and UT sceneries. I have no idea where to look for this problem, can a file far from Tahiti cause this issue. Anyone else had this issue?

General question, Not an expert in Afcads, Use ADEX to alter the afcad ( only gates & aircraft assignments), I have never made a back up of _OBG.BGL. I never check to see if this is in the original airport Scenery folder. Is this a mistake on my part that I have never done this or is it when you are only altering the elevation? What does the _OBG.BGL do.

Downloaded from AVSIM the (Super) Constellations for FS9 & FSX. Both are running fine. However I do not know how to set/change the altitude when flying the Constellation aircraft. Any suggestions for this Constellation beginner.

Got the FS9 free as I have the FSX version, for customers wanting the FS9 only version this is also possible. LatinVFR make it very clear that there is a difference between both versions.

Sent an e-mail to MDesign, response was very quick and I followed their advice, now I have the Winter textures ( I had not installed the files properly). They are making a utility tool so that changing seasons will be easier, at the moment you have to do it manually. Their customer service with me was 100% perfect. Hope they will make UUEE to compliment UUDD.

Thanks for your reply, There is snow on the ground next to the runways as shown in the last photo on SimMarket MDESIGN UUDD site, I then presumed that the buildings were also covered in snow. Due to pass problems with Russian sites ( spam etc) I am always wary of giving certain details like my e-mail address. Also you need to translate every word on their site
