February 28, 201016 yr Hello,As I understand it, Win7 has two default Program folders for Flight Simulator files, one for 32 bit (x86) and one 64 bit . Is it advisable to create a new , separate folder (e.g. Flight Sim) as the destination all FS9 and FSX programs rather than split them up ?Thanks,Jack

FSX is a 32 bit program and thus would be installed in the C:/Program Files directory. If a person has a 64 bit operating system, every 32 bit program is installed in the (x86) directory. This applies for Vista and XP installations too. I believe it would be impossible to create two new, separate folders (e.g., Flight Sim) as the destination for all FS9/FSX programs rather than split them up.Best regards,Jim

This should also apply to stand alone addons. eg: Flight Commander.regardsANAMIV
