Hi I posted a question at Eiresim a while ago but got no result. I was wondering if anyone here could help me out.I want to buy their Dublin & Shannon (they look beautiful) but since I mostly do cross country VFR I'd really like the rest of the country to go with the airports. That looks like photographic scenery in the background of their screenshots (or is it just my optimism?). Where can I get hold of it? I live not far from the Welsh coast (can see their clouds) & having only Wales & England photoreal leaves FS9 feeling a bit truncated. I have VFR photoscenery (& British airports) from JustFlight and really would like to fill Ireland then Scotland out in the same way.Are there photo-textures, scenery/autogen, and airports available for Ireland (and later perhaps Scotland...)?Regards,Dave

Hi DaveUnfortunately I don't think there is any photoreal scenery available for Ireland. I have improved the appearence of the Irish countryside considerably however by using Texture files for Ireland available as freeware by a guy called Geoff Steiner-Scott (although I am unsure where I found them) and also some of the IFSD stuff for other airports, as well as other Irish airfield freeware. Eiresim's Dublin and Shannon are very good (I have both of them) and I would recommend them if you fly to Ireland a lot. I was very pleased to see them appear on the scene having done a lot of flying (in reality) from both airports many years ago when I lived in Ireland. I am not sure what is in the background of their screenshots however (may be the textures I refer to above) but I don't think it is photoscenery.With regard to Scotland, there is a scenery upgrade (not photoreal) available for there from Scotflight, as well as freeware Prestwick Airport and the excellent UKExtreme Scenery for Gloasgow and Edinburgh Airports.
