Hey guys, I've been trying to get the Reality XP WX500 gauge to work with the MD-11 VC. I am already maxed in window size so I would need to swap it with another gauge rather than just add it. I have been searching forums and tried various methods but no luck,,, yet. I was thinking about the SD since it's the only one I think I could live without. But would be open to any 'working' suggestions,,, FO's CDU, ND, PFD etc, as long as it's the FO's (ok, even maybe the ped's CDU.I bought FS Panel Studio but can't edit the panel the way I can other aircraft. I have tried manually, but not sure what I'm missing. I would think it's possible since it was done with the JS41, but then again, that was done by PMDG and maybe there is some hard coding to it? I'm not trying to disface the MD :) I just want to mount this gauge in the plane I fly the most is all.Has anyone been able to do this? I saw a video on youtube where someone did it with one of the mip windows on the PMDG 737 also.I'm not particularly happy with this product at the moment but would still like to add it for shins and grins.Thanks,PS. The most ingenious wx radar simulation isn't worth much with a horrible wx engine, IMHO. Modelling wx is not an easy task, but I think you need to have some semblence of believable weather to implement a wx radar. We just are just not there yet.

I agree Dan, but even if it were just a still image I'd like to learn how. The WX500 gives abnormalities and as I mentioned seems more like a random generator so far than anything but I think it's more the tinker'er in me that wants to figure out how to do it.
