March 5, 201016 yr Hi Byork, Fist let me say you have done an outstanding job and really made an outstanding aircraft even more fun to fly. Thank you! I might have overlooked it but is there any way to have the copilot set an altitude without it being armed?

Hi,Glad you like it!But the FO always 'arms' the altitude after you ask for a new FL or Alt.According to Samuli, that's the way it's done.Best, B. Does that also apply for setting the go around altitude during the approach? Because it seems to me that unless you are already established on the glide slop you would not want it to be armed.
