The SIRX Project aims to map Italy (and parts of Switzerland, France and Austria) with a photorealistic scenario at a good resolution (1.1m/pixel and 0.5m/pixel) and on top of it, place landmarks, AutoGen and improve the airports:http://sirx.flightsimulatorcenter.com/default.aspxThe idea is to create a training aid, therefore the project is no-profit and sponsored by the Italian Government.As far as I can understand, everything is ready for the distribution (it is freeware) to FSX users, however the team still lacks some permissions to make the results available to everyone and currently only developers are allowed to use/test it.Most of the site is in Italian, however, I am Italian so if you would like to know more, just let me know, I'll try to help.Cheers,Paolo

Hi Paulo, I have been dribbling about this for a while now, I check fairly regularly for updates, one of the main guys involved is Frank Dianese, who makes the best photoscenery available for FSX. it is very exciting, and hopefully , it wont take too long before its available. The only downside is the downloading, it's in about 100 packages....Cheers, Mark
