March 7, 201016 yr Eduardo: Reinstalling FSX and reformatting hard drive is pretty drastic. Make sure you have FSX SP1 installed.Does the crash always occur within 2 min of takeoff? Any location? Does it ever not crash within 2 min of takeoff? Dan Downs KCRP
March 8, 201016 yr Author Formatting and reinstalling were because of other reasons, not just because of this problem exactly. Only said that because after formatting the problem persists.I have FSX Acceleration installed, so also included SP2.The problem always occurs after takeoff, independently of the place. Thanks,Eduardo Cavalieri
March 8, 201016 yr You should have SP1 before installing Acceleration, I think. I don't have acceleration so I am unfamiliar but I have SP2 and SP1 is required prerequisite for that.Crash always occurs, but does it occur with any pattern such as engaging autopilot or any other pilot input? You might want to open a trouble ticket at pmdg support while troubleshooting in the forum. March 9, 201016 yr Author Dan,I'm not sure, but I think the Acceleration Pack install SP1 and SP2. I have no sure of this information, but that's what I read. The CTD is independent of any command after takeoff. With or without inputs on the AP.How do I open a ticket trouble in PMDG?edit: all right... just made it.Eduardo Cavalieri
March 9, 201016 yr Almost the exact same system as me, i also have the UD5 (excellent board btw!). I used to have random CTDs too, but they have totally disappeared after I did the UIAutomation trick and changed to DX9 instead of using DX10 preview
