Help with Wilco/Feelthere E170

Featured Replies

Hey guys,Can anybody help me, or point me in the right direction of help, with the LNAV settings on feeltheres E170 v1.For the life of me I cannot get the LNAV to engage. I can program the FMS correctly, (I think) see my track on the screens, engage the Autothrottle, auto pilot and VNAV, but each time I press the NAV button the the glareshield, it just goes into Heading mode... Very frustrating.I'm also having problems locating their 'official forums' if there is such a thing....Any advice?Kael

Might want to take a look here, specifically on page 26, but on other pages too:http://www.smartcockpit.com/pdf/plane/embr...5/systems/0001/That's for the Embraer 190 and not the 170, but I believe the basic system is very similar on board the two types. You will see that there are a lot of things you can do which will actually prevent NAV from engaging and doing what you want. I don't have the Wilco FS Embraer, so I don't know how closely modeled it is to the real thing's systems, but my guess is that it won't be too far off the real thing.Al
