FSX Gold DX10 Preview

Featured Replies

Howdy all.I've been out of the FS scene for a few years but am now starting to get back into it. Quick question that I could find the answer to in the forum... I have an ATI Radeon 5770 video card with Win7 64bit OS but don't see any graphic option to enable the DX10 preview mode in FSX Gold. Am I just missing the obvious? Thanks.Jon Williams

Usually that means your vid card is not DX10 compliantEdit: just checked and your card is DX10 complaint, so not sure on that one.

Just check the box in FSX and everything else is automatic.

Can I ask where this check box is in FSX? I've looked in every settings page but don't see anything like this. Again, maybe I'm just missing it. Can I ask where this check box is located in FSX?Jon

WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

Oh boy... I think I should just sit down before I hurt myself... it must be past my bedtime... Looks like I never installed the Acceleration expansion pack that comes with FSX Gold. I'm guessing that will give me the missing DX10 preview option. Sorry to waste everyone's time but thanks for the replies to my post.Jon
