March 11, 201016 yr Hi all. I just downloaded from the avsim hot list about 75-100 AI aircraft to FSX using World of AI installer. Everything seemed to work fine in the downloaded process; howver, when I opened FSX, none of the AI traffic was appearing. Eventually, I could see the red labeling for planes that were approaching for landing, but I couldn't see the plane itself. Most of the downloads were labeled MFS 2004 but the WOAI Installer gave me the option to apply it to FSX and I assumed it was compatible. Any suggestions on what could be the problem? In addition, I'm fairly new to MFS and I am looking to upgrade my standard simulator with add-ons to make it more realistic and detailed with airports, AI traffic and overall gameplay. Would love some suggestions on some downloads to help get me going. Thanks My specs are Windows 7 64-bit, SP1, FSX Acceleration, Intel i5 2410 processor @ 2.3 GHz, 8GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 6490M, Mobile Intel HD Graphics, Add Ons: PMDG 747-400, UTX North America, UTX Europe, My Traffic X, FS2Crew PMDG 747, FSPassengers

That would not effect the display (or not) of the aircraft as you describe however. There are several conversion utilities available. You might try turning off DX10 in order for the aircraft to show up - assuming you are not using XP.

This only happens though if shadows are active. If you turn off Ground and aircraft shadows, you should see them again. Also I don't think DX10 if you are in that mode will work either. March 11, 201016 yr Thanks for your help Opa. I am using Vista OS. What is DX10? and I would love to hear of some conversion utilities. The conversion utility I use is on the file menu of this program:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...amp;DLID=133867For a complete description of DX10 try this link:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DirectXI believe it can be turned off by Right clicking your Desktop and checking the display options.
