March 14, 201016 yr Is there some way to extract the latest nVidia Control Panel without actually installing the driver? After recently solving my texture corruption issue on my GTX 260 by replacing v196.21 with v182.50, I noticed that the older version of Control Panel that came with the older driver doesn't have the ability to save desktop color setting profiles. (I want to create a 'night flight' profile for my LDC monitor.) I can't remember if the v196.21 driver installation routine has an option for selecting only certain components or not, but I didn't want to chance continuing with the installation and causing myself more headaches. Also, I don't think there's anyway around this but, just in case, I'll ask. I like my cockpit really dim at night which can be accomplished by turning down brightness, etc. The problem with this, of course, is that my landing light becomes almost indiscernible. I guess this is just something you have to live with if you like things at night to be really dark on an LCD monitor?
March 14, 201016 yr nHancer lets you save profiles. There is a general concensus that nHancer is recommended for FSX. "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
