Some Thoughts On Making FSCrew2 FSX Even More Exceptional

Bryan,This program that you developed is really a fantastic piece of work however there are certain improvements that you could make that would make this thing even more amazing and HOTTER than it is right now. The limitation of the program, as I see it, has to do with the functions of the secondary panel in the Departure Brief, Cruz Message, and Approach Brief module sections.I'm sure you'd agree that currently there is a limited number of briefing and message scenarios. Most users, like myself, fly to many other airports that are not listed in secondary panel briefs and message sections. This is a bummer and affects the realism flow of your fantastic work. What I was thinking is if you could somehow find a way to allow for input of the MCDU route file that your are going to fly (example: klaxksfo.rte) into the FS2Crew Start Center and have that input read from the flight plans folder in the PMDG MD-11 module then translated and transferred to the secondary panel appropriate module sections (like the PMDG MD-11 load manager does) you would then have a wiz bang hottest ever seller. Sim pilots would love it and it would be the most fantastic and realistic Flight Crew simulation ever!I know that if you were to embark on this adventure it would cost you a lot more time and money but the results would definitely be worth it in the long run I believe. Here is how I envision this revision could work:After imputing the route file in a section on the FS2Crew start center and selecting a button to transfer the data to the program, the start center would translate the specified route file located in the PMDG MD-11 FLIGHTPLANS folder (specifically, the departure and arrival airports, along with the designated SID and STAR information) and transfer it to the secondary panels modules program section. Option 1:A database of voice sets would have to be created for the major airports in the various regions of the world along with the SID and STAR information. If a particular airport voice set for a given route file didn't exist in the voice set database a default airport and SID and STAR would be automatically entered by the program into the appropriate briefing and message sections. The programming logic of this would be rather straight forward, I believe, but I do realize that it would be a monumental task to record all the major airports along with their SID's and STAR's however the major one's with runways over 10000 feet say could be the initial target. Option 2:An alternative to voice recording all the airports and SID / STAR information would be to use a voice synthesizer program insert to read and say the text in the data file associated with the briefing an cruze message sections and give the information when the appropriate PLAY button is pressed. I'm not sure how feasible this would be and how close the synthesized voice could be the pilots but I thought it might be worth suggesting.Question:I was wondering why you didn't choose the default destination as the blank message in the Cruz Message section. Since the list is somewhat limited it would be much more convenient to have the blank message as the default instead of having to scroll all the way through the 70 some odd messages if your airport is not on the list?I look forward to hearing your thoughts about this post..Later...fs2crew_linepilot-cpt_marvin.jpg

And could you please add the new voice reconition to MD11.Would greatly enhance flows and situational awareness, especially during depature and approche and be awsome fun.I understand it is present in your new products but i think it would gretly enhance the MD-11.Think about it. :(
