March 16, 201016 yr I recently installed a new flight planner, FSCommander X. When I drag it to the second monitor and start up FSX all goes well until I switch FSX to full screen mode. At that point the flight planner monitor goes blank. The only way I can view the planner's moving map while flying is not to use full screen (with all of the attending performance issues).I haven't found any display settings that correct the problem. Any suggestions? Thanks.KeithBTW, my video card is the NIVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT (1GB).

As I understand things with FSX in full screen mode the second monitor in a dual monitor setup goes blank. Which is why I always use windowed mode as I like to be able to have things like a moving map displayed on the second monitor during flight. In my own case I can't even switch between full screen and windowed mode without producing a CTD - very annoying!Bruceb Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." March 17, 201016 yr Same problem with my triple mon FS9 "flight deck". Full Screen is impossible to control or use. However (in FS9 anyway) you can adjust Windowed mode multiple views to appear almost identical to full screen. Auto hide both Task(bottom) and Menu(top) Bars.Set Desktop colour to black. Then change the colours of Popup Title Bars to Black with dark Green lettering. The pic shows the result- hard to distinguish from Full Screen.Alex ReidTurning Final for CYYJ R09
