March 21, 201016 yr Clouds, heavy scenery (think major airports) and lots of traffic will send your computer to its' knees. Yes, I've been reading the posts. I lied. Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
March 21, 201016 yr I haven't noticed too big a difference with FPS Limiter, but if Bill Gates himself could lock FSX at 24 in every situation, never higher, never lower, I'd let him. (For now.)This is one reason I like to load up FS9 once in a while and pull some heavy iron into JFK with AI maxed and FPS at +30. It still looks great and those wicked FPS are noticeable. I'm sure FSX at 50+ into JFK at noon, regardless of this eyeball vs. that eyeball, would look amazing. The higher the FPS, the more 3D it seems to be. Maybe that's just me. ___________________________I'm just flying for the fun of it.
