Add on radio for music

Featured Replies

Does anyone know of a good add on that allows me to listen to my own music while flying One that will cut out when communicating with atc or my own selected PTTThanks Peter

I don't but I've thought about that as well, for some time. That would certainly be a fantastic little tool. Perhaps have it linked somehow to iTunes so that one could select any playlist?Include a panel for it as well.

There are a few older programs out there mostly for fs9. and for instance there is stuff like blue sky radio ( not really my taste in music), so ive been looking around that does this but I havent found it yet

FS HotSeat is one that comes to mind, ut's good, but be aware that it clashes with some other stuff.Al

Hi,Use WinAmp and just pause it when ATC speaks up!

Win's Media Player works good. I have minimized FSX and using explorer picked several tunes (MP3) and set WMP to 'repeat' and then X out explorer and minimze WMP and go fly with tunes. I also have Fraps minimized and when I record, the music is embedded in the video-ha. Accidently, but just goes to show it don't hurt FSX performance (oh, maybe 2 frames). I use the keyboard volume control to quiet the music (like when the phone rings) and Q or P (pause) for FSX. But DON'T go putting those 'CD Player' type (FS9) players in your panel. You will knock FSX down to 2 FPS. Won't work.CBNapamule
