March 26, 201016 yr When I select a CRJ for a flight I find the FMC is dark (it wasn't on the very first time I opened up an aircraft) and I have to turn up the lights using the FMC dimmer switch: however it then only shows me ..."[ ] along the top of the FMC display screen with "CHK POS" underneath that. The first time it had a whole lot more data. However when I press any of the buttons nothing happens (including the keypad). Nothing happens that is except it crashes - everything on my computer screen goes black and it freezes. I have deleted and reloaded twice but the same thing happens. I haven't been able to get away from the ramp!I downloaded the CRJ Volumne 1 file from AVISM.Any help would be greatly appreciated.RegardsJohn G

Did you have to add the files manually or was it done automatically? If possible, I would uninstall Volume 1 through the Add/Remove Programs function and/or the Wilco CRJ and then reinstall. In addition, make sure the Wilco CRJ will work on your operating system (you didn't indicate). For instance, many of their aircraft will not work on Windows 7, 64 bit systems, unless patched. And it took them a long time just to patch the Wilco 737 PIC to Vista 32 bit. Most of the aircraft functions will work except maybe gauges which will cause crashes as they are not compatible. This may be your problem. I do not own this aircraft so these are all assumptions on my part but I do own the 737.Best regards,Jim
April 1, 201016 yr I had Wilcopublishing PIC737 and Airbus Volume1 on a Windows VISTA 32 bit system installed already a few years back.I had to remove these software because I had random CTD's with it.With the PIC737 I had most CTD's when flaring the aircraft just before touch down. I followed all instructions like administration, last updates etc,... it was frustrating. With the Airbus Volume 1 I had also CTD's most off the time when swichting the PFD switch for the mapping in one off the ECAMS in the panel. It happened randomly. Also checked for updates and tips for trips but nothing got solved with it...Frustrating 2.My opinion is that at the time Wilcopub got to quick into FSX with Fs2004 products making them "compatible" for FSX which means, in my case and many others (forums): good "publishing" but mislead and loss off good monney for a product that just does not work for a lot off costumers it seems by forums.Support and forums never gave me the solution to fix the CTD's so my conclusion: I never will purchase products off wilcopublishing ever again.I still hope you will be able to solve your problem but be aware, from my experience, it can be a long painfull one with no good end.Grtz,
