Featured Replies

Is there a new afcad out there for Flytampa's TNCM with the new runway numbers? Also the afcad file it comes with is missing a control tower and atis frequency? Strange.ThanksDavid

Hi David,If your referring to the runway change 10/28, the update can be found at the location provided below. You'll have to copy and past the files into their correct directory, if you need help just let me know.http://www.flytampa.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3720

that's just a texture update, the afcad still has the old runway numbers and there are no approach files, nor are there tower or ground frequencies

Hi,Well, I don't know much about AFX other than I purchased it some time ago from Flight1 and never really used it. But, I just renamed TNCM's runways from 09/27 to 10/28, the file is called AFX_TNCM. It also has the following two frequencies.1. Tower = 118.702. Approach= 128.953. ATIS = There is no digital ATIS at TNCM.FSX Tower now directs me to runway 10. If you want to try the file just send me an email address where I can send the updated AFCAD file and TNCM 10/28 chart information.

an approach file has to be written, the problem with just naming the runways to their new numbers is that it breaks the default approach files and only visual approaches will be issued from the tower

Hi,I use Radar Contact not FSX for ATC, although it shouldn't make a difference if I use FSX or RC4. I haven't flown to St. Maarten for awhile, think I'll setup a flight to TNCM tomorrow. The only charts I have for TNCM are as follows:ARRIVALS----------------1. RNAV (GNSS) Rwy 102. VOR X Rwy 10 (CAT C&D)3. VOR Y Rwy 10 (CAT A&:(4. VOR Z Rwy 105. LOCATOR Rwy 10DEPARTURES--------------------1. Z Rwy 102. Y Rwy 103. MODOR ONE RNAV (GNSS)4. BOPAT ONE RNAV (GNSS)

very strange when I load up tncm I don't have any tower option just tncm traffic. What is the date of your afcad in the flytampa scenery folder?

Hi,I altered the AFCAD file yesterday, so I don't have the date your looking for. The Fly Tampa install file used to install St. Maarten is called FlyTampa_Maarten_Complete_FSX_11 and has a date modified of 4/23/2008. I then installed the rwy change file TNCM_FSX_10_28.zip and this has a date modified of 6/28/2009.
