So I develope a flight plan from KDAL to KPHX. The plan is "ABI BSG EWM SSO".For my SID I enter WORTH5 and 13L as my runway.Now my plan looks like this13LTTTF-PLN DISCOUNTINUITYABIIs there any way to get rid of F-PLN DISCOUNTINUITY so that NAV mode takes me from TTT to ABI? As it is I have to use a heading from TTT to ABI and then go back into NAV mode once I get to ABI.Rod Storer

I havent flown the MD11 in a couple of weeks, so I cant remember exactly, but I think you can remove DISCONTINUITY messages by pressing the DELETE button on your CDU, then click on the line with the DISCONTINUITY

Of couse Rod hit the clr button on your fms and the hit the lsk key beside F-PLN DISC, I would suggest reading the manual a bit more or doing a couple tutorials, even looking on youtube helped me out alot, some good vids on there of the pmdg md11. Good luck

I do believe that I tried that and it did not work, but I will try it again. I have done both tutorials numerous times and the FMS manual in the flight plan section did not say how to clear the line.Anyway thanks for the response and like I said, I will give it another try.Rod Storer

Sometimes when going through the pages fast you will get a false error when trying to clear which may be what you saw. So for instance, I choose a SID, then go back to the flight plan page, I then want to clear a discontinuity and press clear then click on the LSK, but sometimes the page seems to still be populating and will say "Not allowed". If you watch you'll notice this often. I still move at my normal pace but if I get any "Not Alloweds" I just try again and it takes the second time.
