I have an issue with the A2A B-17G accusim. Not sure if this is an FSX question or an A2A question but I will start here. When flying the B-17 in the FTX PNW if I look at the plane in the exterion eventually my ground and the text in the menu go blurry. I used to have this issue in FS9 with the Captai sim C-130 on an old sytem. I have been able to flly around the PNW (only place I have been in FSX) with no problems. I have used The Cera Bell 412 which has a bit of imp0act on FPS but still managble. The A2A J-3 cub accusim decent frames. The Carenado Cessna 206 which is terrific. None of these aircraft have had the blurring problem. I do realise the B-17 is more demanding but the frames stay in a good range I just get the blurring. I have been checking some tutorials and making changes to see what happens. My system is modest:Dell XPS M1730 duo core 2.5ghz laptopwin xp 4gb RAMnvidia 8700M GTX 512mb ---yes low endIf anbody has any thoughts I would appreciate it.Thanks

Hello,I can only assume that it is indeed a performance problem.If you notice framedrops with the A2A Cub, which isn't demanding in relativation to the B17, so I think your system or better settings are wrong for this plane.I don't have PNW but I think it also a demanding scenery comparing to FSX standard.Carenade planes run always at very high end, because they don't have any system deepth and act like standard FS planes.The B17 is much lighter on frames as the MD11 or the Cessna Mustang, but of course an addon with high systems deepth which needs a bit of resource to compute.So I recommend to lower some settings....If you don't get better frames, even what you do, then please swap over to the A2A forum...They will help you for sure!

I watched several tutorials on you tube and read a few things made some adjustments and I also blocked out the tower views in the FSXcamera config and I am now flying along with pretty descent rates. I am flying the big bomber to PHNL so when I arrive I will see how it is there. Thanks for your input.

I wanted to add to this get it on the front page to get more thoughts.Now I only get the washout at payware airports FSDT PHNL/ Aerosoft Tahiti. All my text in the menu and ATC becomes unreadable. All B-17 and the brake message and Frame rates stays completely readable. Once I leave the area of the Payware scenery all the text returns to normal. Very frustrating.
