Hi there,The chart is based upon the weight of the aircraft, flap setting, and center of gravity expressed in per-cent of mean aerodynamic chord. I don't think FSX is going to give you enough information regarding CG - %MAC, so you would have to "wing" it on that. (Sorry for the pun) On the 737 there are numbers displayed that correspond to the trim setting. Those numbers are the numbers given on the chart. So the pilot adjusts the elevator trim so the number displayed is the same as the chart indicates for that weight etc. That way the elevator trim should be pretty close to correct when the pilot rotates on takeoff. However usually the pilot has to bump it a little one way or the other after rotation.But the bottom line is trim is used to alleviate the pressure on the controls required to maintain a desired attitude. I think all airplanes have elevator trim and many have aileron and rudder trim as well. Hope that helps.
