Appcrash AFTER closing fs-X

Featured Replies

morning everybody, like a lot of us simmers, I have been playing around with the new tweaks provided by 'Bojote' the last couple of days. It's that impressive that I decided to make a fresh start.I installed a fresh version of Windows 7 64bit and installed Fs-X from scratch, including acceleration Pack.Added some scenery enhancements like GEX, REX UTX and PNW and only 1 aircraft (Bell 206 from Dodosim)The results are more than satidfying so I am a happy man, if it wasn't for an annoying bug.Eveytime I close Fs-X I get the following error:Gebeurtenisnaam van probleem: APPCRASH Naam van de toepassing: fsx.exe Versie van toepassing: 10.0.61637.0 Tijdstempel van toepassing: 46fadb14 Naam van foutmodule: ai_player.dll Versie van foutmodule: 10.0.61637.0 Tijdstempel van foutmodule: 46fadb57 Uitzonderingscode: c0000005 Uitzonderingsmarge: 00037489 Versie van besturingssysteem: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1 Landinstelling-id: 2067 Aanvullende informatie 1: 0a9e Aanvullende informatie 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Aanvullende informatie 3: 0a9e Aanvullende informatie 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789Name of the module is ai_player.dllCan anyone shed some light on this issue?thanksLuc BrusselmansBelgium

It might be a problem with PNW. See http://orbxsystems.com/forums/index.php?topic=20213.0.

Are you using Ultimate Traffic 2? I get the same crash when closing, but not every time. I think it is to do with the timing of AI traffic updates from UT2. It uses an EXE program running as a separate process to FSX and I think by the time it gets notified of FSX's closing it is sometimes too late to stop a batch of AI traffic creations getting through SimConnect and being processed by AIPlayer.Luckily it does no harm EXCEPT that if you make changes in FSX.CFG via the Menus, they may not get saved.RegardsPete

Thanks guys,Since I don't use any AI-traffic program, I guess I don't have to look in that direction. So the only thing left is Orbx PNW scenery.I will try a few suggestions from the orbs website to see if can pinpoint the cause.Luc BrusselmansBelgium

FSINN is a common culprit as well. Mine has done this for years, but I have just lived with it.
