April 12, 201016 yr Hello AllIf I enable AA in FS9 I can see its effects quite clearly when I use the sim i.e. saw edged wings and things nicely smoothed out etc.however the price for this is a performance hit of course.I know it is common knowledge that you should set AA in your GCard rather than in the sim,so I thought I would try this to see how it compares to FSs own.My Gcard is an Nvidea Gforce6600.When i select AA in the Gcard settings (there are various levels of AA you can choose from)I am pretty sure when I next run my sim nothing is happening I.E. i still get saw edged wings and things. So am I missing something?PS i wish i could use AA all the time as it really smooths out the rough edges nicely but as with all things FS there is the trade off performance factor.Basically if I set AA in my card, I see no difference when i run my sim.Cheers AndyP4 2.8 /1GB ram/Gforce 6600 256MB
