MacRobertson Millar Airlines merged with Airlines WA Ltd in 1966 to become Airlines of Western Australia. Then in 1984 became Ansett WA. These photos were taken when I was with a exploration crew in the Pilbara region of WA at a airstrip called Boolgeeda in 1963 from where the iron ore deposits of Mt Tom Price were discovered, 60 Kms west.

I made an error in saying that Mt Tom Price was west of Boolgeeda, in fact it is to the east.
