Kingston 64GB SSD update:Okay, everything is installed now. So far, programs and textures definitely load much faster compared to my old Western Digital 7200RPM Caviar Blue. The boot time of the computer is a little faster, but my system is run with minimal programs to begin with, so boot times were fast with the old drive as well. I seem to be getting more fluid performance, although I still have very slight microstutters in wing views when turning and looking at the terrain below the wings; the terrain further away moves fluidly. I have eliminated the [bufferPools] edit for now (I don't think my GTX 275 is really up to the task), and I am back to using the external limiter at 30 fps which seems to work the best as of yet. Still using the HIGHMEMFIX=1 and the AffinityMask=14 tweaks. My nHancer is back to combined 8xS AA and 16x AF with the prerender limit set to 1.Here are some test results:Using AS SSD Benchmark:TEST READ WRITE (in order)Seq, 235.5 MB/s, 139.38 MB/s4K, 12.16 MB/s, 10.58 MB/s 4K-64Thrd, 12.59 MB/s, 9.32 MB/s Access Time, 0.310 ms, 0.232 ms

I, too, have dumped the in-game AA and aniso in favor of the nHancer control, but kept the rest. Very good results, smooth throughout except at very busy airports, which were a slide-show on my old system and slightly better on this system pre-tweak.I did have repeatable crashes related to EMB which I had to remove from my system. I don't know why but I don't really miss it. (see screenie)I have never been happier with FSX.

I don't get crashes like that anymore since I disabled DEP inside windows and use the highmemfix and the bufferthreshold or whatever from *******' tweaks
