Which FDE?

Featured Replies

Nandan,I just now installed it (like I said, I did not have an EMB-120) and 'looked' at Alves's FDE's. They are COMPLETELY different in weights, geometry and even the air file is years apart. The contact points are also different. The bottom line is that they will have to be matched to the model. That I intend to do now. The contact pts should be ready by around Noon (PST) as that is easy. And the other FDE tweaks should be ready by 6 PM (PST) as I am NOT going to miss TALLADEGA stock car race. It's once a year event, and a treat for me (I love to watch Nascar racing-and YES while maybe flying too-so sue me (hehe)). Boogity Boogity-Let's Go Racing Boys!! But first: Sweetie get me another beer, change the channel, pop some popcorn in micro, put the dog out and the cat in, and toss another log in the fire, but scratch that itch between my should blades first, ok? .... Do what? (hehe). So hang in there. Chuck B is on it. I'll be baaack.CBNapamule

Napamule any chance you could upload some of your FDE's like the DC-3 turboprop? :( That with a new panel may be the base of a new Basler BT-67 turboprop converson

Nandan,Finally got done. I was doing editing and put an 'l' instead of a '1' and darn if I couldn't figure it out until 5:30 pm. Wasted a lot of time. But the final result is very good (IMHO). There were only a few things 'off'. The contact points are better. Especially the nose. I added differential braking (for making 'doughnuts') and spoiler (for when you come in too hot and need it). All in all the model and the (basically KA-350) FDE's were not too bad. So hope you like the changes. The zip file (606 kb) is at MediaFire file hosting site and click on link to go download. Let me know how I did.LinK: http://www.mediafire.com/file/lymzyrybkmm/emb120cb.zip .Simmer9304,It may be possible to do that. Will work on this tomorrow as after Talledega race and doing tweaks I am burned out today. Will check back tomorrow and let you know on this thread. Cheers (hic).CBNapamulePS: I don't drink anything stronger than Pop (and Pop will drink just about anything-ha).

I also took a quick download of the EMB-120 file just to have it on hand :( but thanks for considering the Basler conversion file there may be some DC-3 nuts out there that would kill for one of those lol
