auto pilot a not engaging

i know how old this product is...but it still kicks butt!every single thing works for me except for onewhen i ask the FO to engage auto pilot...he says he is doing it...but the light on the button never goes onthanks

Hi,Glad to hear you like it in spite of its age!Key assignments for FS2Crew and the PMDG correct?Other possible issue... you're out of the envelope for the AP to engage. The test for that is to see if you can engage it manually.Cheers,

Thats what ive been doing...it goes on when i hit it how might key assignments cause this?i use the mouse pointer on the pop up panel to tell the fo what to do

I'd have to look at the code again, but when you hit the button on the pop up panel, FS2Crew is likely sending a keypress to activate the autopilot function.There is an FS2Crew PDF Keyboard Assignments manual that ships with the product.It's in Start - Programs - FS2Crew.Make sure the key assignments listed in that manual match up with your PMDG keyboard assignments.Best,
