April 20, 201016 yr I just would like to let everybody know how I feel about this Jetstream. The textures indeed are the best I ever used in any flightsimulator (started with 95 Vesion)After a Century of Flight (2004) FS9.1 I stopped using Flight Simulator for almost 3 years. Now, using Win7-64 bit and Deluxe FS+Acceleration installed, I started to manage the operationof Jetstream. After some trouble with CTD as discribed here inside PMDG Forum, since using the uiautomationcore.dll-version2008 (vista) with 149 kb, and a reinstall, all seems to work fine. (10 FLights now without any trouble. So after even some 4 month of "work" (due to work in real life as well) I managed to operate and ENJOY this100%-Satisfying Aircraft made by PMDG.I think, once I manage to install RealtyXP WX500 some day, I won

April 20, 201016 yr When I bought the J41, I played with it for awhile, and then went back to the 744 and MD-11. Then, about four months ago, I saw some references on this board to other recommended add-ons like REX and GEX and UTX. Once I added them, especially REX, I sent the heavies off to Victorville and love flying in 12-20K range with the J41, especially when the sky has good clouds. Great fun to fly the J41 and enjoy the weather and terrain add-ons that seem to be of much less use at say, FL360.I won't go so far as to call it my "favorite", since I don't really like to pick favorites, but it has been occupying more of my time than anything else recently. But, if you're flying the J41, look into a weather add-on like REX and it will be a whole other level of awesome. Doug Orvis PP-ASEL-IA (USA), Based at KHEF Picture courtesy of Kyle Rodgers
April 20, 201016 yr Author This is a good idea, I will check these addons as well. When I first flew for several times the Tutorial flight to get used to the procedures, views etc, I already was astonished because of the programmed weather file and cloud buildings and raining. So you are right I will check these mentioned addons out. But what made me so happy is the accuracy of VC-flying, all modelled so nice, not to forget the trim behaviour, the procedures and operations. It is so hard to learn how systems work (and I know a lot about Aircraft Systems, own ALL AOM
