Hi,It will, but you need to work around the .NET messages. From other users, I remember that if you click on cancel when that message comes up, AS will continue to install.Also, do not install FS into the Program Files folder.

Just a quick question re the above. when I try to install ASV 6.5 in W7 (64) I get the net message. I click cancel and ASV stops the installation. If on the other hand I click OK eventually windows message states that there is a compatabilty problem? I havent installed yet.

Anyone any ideas

The compatibility problem is an issue only if you are running IIS and the MS Studio development environment - if you don't know what those are then there is no problem. On the other hand, ASV6.5 is an obsolete and now unsupported product and you would be doing yourself a favor if you got yourself a copy of ASE instead.

DJ I think your right. I'll have to upgrade to ASE. Is this the best one for FS9 in W7. Steve

In my opinion it is - it lacks the graphic features of ASV6/ASG but still allows you to use GEPro if you have that, will provide weather data that can be read by FSBuild, and does an excellent job of providing weather to FS. I use REX to provide cloud and sky textures and ASE to provide weather; it's a great combination.

Hi all,

 

I have panel flicker when ever there is a station update with ASE. I worked to Damian and all them to fix this issue but we couldn't. Anyone have any ideas? I have gone back to ASv6.5 but the winds aloft are acting really funny and I'm just tired of messing with it all -_-
