April 30, 201016 yr Commercial Member As far as I know dnor 3.6 / can be used in place of rnor 50 *...so give this a try :)But the problem is bigger :)On second glance this formula won
April 30, 201016 yr Author ok - its spins about 35% and twitches 60% and is still 5%.The way I have been testing is to have both props visible (original and clone) and shutdown the engine and then just hit the magneto to watch spin up and spin down.
May 1, 201016 yr Commercial Member Ok, I exported it to have a look and it does pop as the animation passes through frame 100.The script below rounds the result to the nearest degree and that seems to fix it.The minimum wind strength condition is unnecessary IMO
May 1, 201016 yr Moderator If you keyframed from 0-99 instead of 0-100, you wouldn't have the "poping" at frame 100...Remember, at frame 100 you are actually at the 101st frame! :( Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
May 1, 201016 yr Author I think that is as good as I need it to be, so I'll stop there...not perfect, but at least amnimated. Thanks All for all your input and help
May 13, 201016 yr Author I just had a thought and can't test it right now, BUT what if this animation name tag was assigned to an animated part, would it free wheel in the wind ? I think that is part of the turbine of a jet engine.N1_0_blurred
May 13, 201016 yr Author Turns out that the turbines do not seem to be free wheeling in the wind. Oh well...
