April 26, 201016 yr Hi all.I purchased RC4 about 2 years ago, I think, and I am now beginning to use it after all that time. What have I been waiting for RIGHT? LOL. I have done okay so far. I do however have one question. Is it possible to disable FS9's ATC once and for all instead of having to do it every single time I start FS9??? .............John (ancient sim pilot)

Options - Settings - Sounds, adjust ATC volume all the way to the left (0) and uncheck the ATC box. Ray (Cheshire, England). April 26, 201016 yr I also suggest for FS9 users only, back up your FSUIPC.ini file in your modules folder. Edit it adding:RemoveATC=yes in the General section. That has been known to cure some FS9 ills when suppressing its ATC. This will not affect AI operation.RC4 probably has been updated since you last used it two years ago. The current version is 4.3.0.3845 (you can use 4.3.0.3843 as well). If you need to upgrade send an e-mail to [email protected] with your e-mail address and also including your e-mail address at the time of your order and he will provide a download link. Also, insure you are up-to-date with makerwys.exe and FSUIPC downloading from this page if necessary:http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html. If you install an RC4 upgrade as mentioned above then for sure install these utilities.

If you're having to check it each time you load FS something is wrong. Try changing another preference and see if that stays 'stuck'.Cheshire can be a bit on the damp side so it's best to have an indoor hobby. He shouldn't be long catching you up! :( Ray (Cheshire, England).
